Meet our baby cousin Madelyn or Maddy as we call her…She is the oldest of all the great grandkids in our family and the oldest of 4 in her family. If you have met Maddy then you know she is a sweetheart and we love her dearly. She has always been a little shy and quiet but over the last couple years she is really starting to come out of her shell. This session was just Maddy and I out to fight the crazy wind that day. We talked about books she is reading, school, her friends, church and everything else that is going on in her life. The quiet and shy girl that once was Missy Madelyn is slowing starting to fade and quickly becoming this energetic and outgoing young lady. Just listening to her tell stories and talk about her friends and church you can see how big of a heart she has and how much she cares about her friends and family. My oldest Liv, has always looked up to Maddy and I couldn’t be happier to have Maddy as a role model for my little girl. Maddy is truly a beautiful girl inside and out!

We have had the honor of photographing this little man’s 6 month session a few weeks ago (as well as his mom’s maternity and his newborn sessions). We love catching up with our repeat customers and watching our newborns grow.
 
This was supposed to be a nice spring day but with this lovely Illinois weather this year it was actually a little chillier than what it should have been so we had cars running, blankets ready and we shot fast!...Carson did so well despite the weather. He is such a cute little boy and we can’t wait to see him again in another 6 months for his 1-year session!

We would like you to meet baby Michael …he is the son of an old friend childhood friend of mine and it was nice being able to hang out with Michael’s mom, Lindsey and Grandma Sue while shooting Michael’s newborn session. Michael was just over 3 weeks old when I met him. He wasn’t so sure about going to sleep for us at first so we cuddled him and swaddled him and started shooting while he was awake. I think we eventually bored him and he fell asleep so we were able to get both awake and the cute newborn slumber shots. He is such a cutie. 

Congratulations again Lindsey and Sam…He is just perfect. 

Kyle + Samantha, Central Illinois Wedding photographer

Kyle and Samantha (Sam) were married on March 23 at the Mt. Zion Convention Center. They had a beautiful ceremony with lots of personal touches and even added a bit of humor to the ceremony itself, whether it was planned or not, it made the ceremony even more personal and memorable for them. It was clear throughout the day that these two love each other and truly came together as a family with their son, kruz, by including him in the ceremony.

Here is a quick preview of what is to come…Kyle and Sam had a very loving and fun group surrounding them on their special day so more of them to come soon.

Sweet Adlee ... Illinois Child Photographer

Sweet sweet sweet Adlee…we have been shooting miss Adlee since she was only a few days old. We always look forward to Adlee and her big brother Cooper’s sessions because not only do we get to hang out with them but we also get to hang out and catch up with their parents, Clint and Haley. Clint is an old family friend that we grew up with and we were so happy for him when he found Haley. The more we got to know Haley the more we liked her. They don’t make them much sweeter then her. And then they brought 2 sweet and adorable little ones into our lives, Copper and Adlee. I can’t believe Adlee is 1 already. They truly do grow up fast.

I am actually pretty excited to share this post with you guys because I absolutely  love this little man to death.  He is seriously too stinking cute! I just want to snatch him up and squeeze him every time I see him..and well he just wants to run from me but I guess you can’t really blame him. I mean you would run too if you had a crazy woman smiling and running at you for a big hug. He is the youngest of 3 and is the son of 2 of my husband and I’s best friends.

The Horne kiddo’s typically always make you work for it but my goodness when you finally catch them their smiles and personalities really shine. So today I am sharing with you MY Drew… i love him to pieces and i know you will 2!
